Natalie and Dave’s Wedding on Sunday, June 14th 2009

Natalie and Dave were married at Historic Mankin Mansion here in Richmond under fully sunny skies. Prior to the chuppah ceremony, the men gathered for a ketubah ceremony after which the mothers were invited inside to break plates. We didn’t have time to ask about the plate breaking, that was new to us! Then the men sang their way to the main house where the bedeken ceremony was to occur and everyone gathered round to watch Dave veil his bride while the family bestowed blessings.
Guests traveled from all over the world to attend including Canada, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the UK. The reception was celebrated underneath a tent on the mansion grounds with a bar beneath the pergola for cocktail hour. Votives in glass bowls lit pathways and porches. The party was amazing and the day was full of emotion – there’s just too much good stuff to include in a slideshow but we tried nonetheless! this was a very special day for two young and in love people though i was not able to be there this most beautiful memory were for those who were at the marriage of DAVID AND NATALIE for those of us who could not be there is was our misfortune to miss such a special event and day the marriage of two special and wonderful people thankyou for letting me attend your perfect day by the invent of technology i know my heart was there and hope a new generation of GOLDBERGS will always have this as a lasting and beautiful memory

It was absolutely amazing to share in your simche, albeit digitally. The friendship of our families goes back a long long way and it was heart warming to see this wonderful event in photos. We wish Dave and Natalie a healthy and happy life together. May you know only love and joy, may your path through life be easy and may you always be surrounded by the warmth and love you felt on your wedding day.
